Lani Neumann

Lani is a seasoned television director and content producer. In 2017 she founded Necessary Media a full-service NYC based production company whose mission is to bring powerful, diverse, inclusive stories to the largest audiences possible.

She has directed top rated television series, including TLC’s iconic bridal show, Say Yes to the Dress; Food Wars, a food competition series for Travel Channel and Bert the Conqueror (Travel Channel) which featured comedian Bert Kreischer testing his courage on thrill rides across the country.

In addition, Lani was a producer on an Emmy winning season of MTV’s MADE and on the acclaimed feature documentary, Salinger.

Her corporate and digital work as a Producer/ Director at VaynerMedia includes a highly successful social media campaign for Budweiser that celebrated their work with veterans, a hilarious Friends parody for Swedish Fish and a digital rebranding launch for Almay cosmetics.

 
 
 

Rani Craft-Robinson

Rani brings 18+ years’ experience in the digital media space. Her work has taken her from Washington, DC; Los Angeles and to Singapore, producing and directing digital content in support of Travel Channel, TLC, HGTV, DIY Network and more.

Throughout her career she’s developed, produced and supervised digital originals for Discovery’s owned and operated show sites, YouTube, Instagram’s IGTV and HGTV GO and TRVL GO app platforms. She developed and produced A Day in the Life and My Hometown with actor Brian Unger (The Daily Show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), exploring his home of Sherman Oaks, California; Ghost Adventures: Where Are They Now? and a digital short - Man v. NYC (in support of Man v. Food).

For HGTV, Rani developed and produced 3 seasons of the original series - Erin’spired

For HGTV's hit series Home Town with Ben and Erin Napier. She co-produced a series of digital shorts for HGTV House Tours, where HGTV's hosts beautiful homes, such as Leanne Ford, Egypt Sherrod (Step Inside Egypt Sherrod’s Flip) and Drew Scott and Linda Phan were put on display.

In April 2018, Rani executive produced the Award-winning short film ‘One Last Goodbye,’ with LMK Entertainment Group, which received the following awards in the 2019-2020 film festival circuit Best Duo ONIROS (Italy) Film Awards, Best Actor Award DC Black Film Festival, Best Short Film OLA Film Festival, Best Short Film (Social Awareness) Queen Palm International Film Festival, Best Actor (Silver Award) and Female Director (Bronze Award) Independent Shorts Awards.

Rani is a storyteller and a visual storyteller. She uses her writing, love for photography and video to bring the most exciting content to life.
